Friday 16th March: Dinner and cruise to launch the festival - ‘Perspectives on the Landscape’

Enjoy a sumptuous three course dinner and listen to four award winning local and internationally renowned guest speakers as they explore the relationship between art and the environment. As a special treat join a sunset cruise from Hobart to the dinner at Peppermint Bay (minimum numbers apply).

Saturday and Sunday 17th - 18th March: Weekend Watercolour Workshop

Improve your skills ready for the painting competition. Two days expert tuition with internationally award winning watercolour artist and teacher David Taylor. David is regularly featured in International Artist and Australian Artist magazines and is co-author of Solving Mysteries in Watercolour. Numbers are strictly limited so book early.
Weekend Workshop at Westwinds Community Centre: $160 pp, concessions available.

On the beaches. In the orchards. In the hills. By the boats. An open invitation to join in the fun. A map at Woodbridge Hall will show you where to .nd a view to capture or watch the artists work.


Saturday and Sunday 24th - 25th March: Channel Photographic Exhibition 2007

Visit the annual Channel Photographic Exhibition at the Woodbridge School Hall. Open daily from 10am-4pm. Information/entries please contact the Woodbridge Online Access Centre on 6267 4691. (Entries close 9/3/07).


Sunday 25th March: Lunch, Music, Exhibition
Enjoy fine food in the local vineyards and cafés with music from 11.30am-2.15pm as they join in the festival spirit. Choose from Picnic under the Pear Trees at Fleurtys Café or Jazz at Hartzview Vineyard, or more jazz and live music at Herons Rise Vineyard or Mermaid Café in Kettering.

The exhibition of the weekend’s painting will be open from 2.30pm at Woodbridge Hall, with judges awarding several prizes including the major prize of $1000. Exhibition and sales 2.30-5.30pm, continuing 10am-4pm Monday 26th March.

 
We have asked private landowners to give special access to scenic points for artists — details will be available at the Woodbridge Hall and Regnans Gallery.
