En Plein Air Painting Festival

Our last event was at Woodbridge Tasmania Australia

Friday 23th to Monday 26th March 2007

Friday and Saturday were artists' painting days.

Paintings were done outdoors, in the open air (en plein air) to capture
the transitory effects of weather and light.
Sunday: entertainment for the public including music in the vineyards
and art theme luncheons, followed by the exhibition of paintings at
Woodbridge Hall at 2.30pm. Some paintings were still wet.
The exhibition continued on Monday.

The event was

in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel area south of Hobart, centred
around picturesque Woodbridge village. The D'Entrecasteaux Channel features
beaches, orchards, farms, harbours with fishing boats, a sparkling
waterway, pretty villages with churches and cottages...
